You know a job interview went poorly if any of these 12 things happens. If all 12 happen, definitely start looking for a different job.
1. The atmosophere of the office building is dirty, dingy, drab, disorganized, and depressing. And smells like urine. If you catch a whiff of piss, save your time and walk away.
2. The interviewer gives you the arrongant limp-wristed handshake of pompous royalty. If you are made to feel like you should curtsy and kiss the interviewer’s hand, you probably don’t want to work there.
3. The interviewer isn’t sure exactly what the job description is yet, but she has a “rough draft” and maybe by the time she conducts second interviews “in about a month” she will have a more “definitive description of the job requirements.” If nobody seems to know what job you are interviewing for, it might be a waste of your time.
4. The interviewer asks you “what you like to do,” so you tailor your answers based on the vague description of the job…
