Oh my goodness, I am loving your supermarket analogy…I recently used stores as an analogy to explain polyamory to someone. I was saying that one person won’t fulfill all of our needs and that it is silly to expect that. It’s kind of like we don’t expect to be able to buy snow tires in Victoria’s Secret. You have to go to multiple sources to get everything you need.
