Thanks so much, Christine! I agree with you completely that the word slut is laden with judgment, repression, and condemnation and a new word would be great. But right now, I feel like it’s the word we have and so I will work to change its meaning and overtones! Perhaps “sexually liberated” could be replaced with a simple “sexually healthy”!
